# Minting

If you want to know the specifics on how to mint an NFT on NFTz, please visit ['How do you mint an NFT'](/beginners-guide/nft/selling-nft-intro/how-do-you-mint-sell-an-nft.md).

Minting is the process of putting a NFT on the blockchain so that it is purchasable by other users. If an NFT is sold, the earned DeSo will be transferred to your DeSo wallet that is connected to your account.
